Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing
Administering our tests
CEU Cardenal Herrera University in Valencia is the latest in a growing number of international institutions to use the BioMedical Admissions Test (BMAT). All applicants to the University’s English-medium medical course are taking the test in February 2017.
CEU Cardenal Herrera is the second Spanish university to use BMAT for undergraduate entry to their medical courses. The University of Navarra has been using the test since 2016.
Andy Chamberlain, Head of Cambridge Assessment Admissions Testing, said: "The growing use of BMAT in Spain reflects the expanding international use of the test, with universities in the Netherlands, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia also using it for their applicants."
BMAT tests students’ ability to apply scientific and mathematical knowledge, as well as problem-solving, critical thinking and written communication skills that are essential to university-level study.
